  Join the Colebrook Area Historical Society for an exciting film presentation: Harvesting Ice in New England! Did you know that during the 19th century, before we had mechanical ice makers and the convenience of modern refrigeration, harvesting natural ice was a thriving industry in New England? Ice was carefully cut during the winter months and stored in ice houses, ensuring a steady supply throughout the year. Early ice harvesters relied on hand saws to work on frozen ponds and streams, while later on, they upgraded to gasoline-powered saws. Come and learn more about this fascinating piece of our history!

• Early Release Popcorn Party- The Little Rascals

  Recreation Department is hosting a Popcorn Party! Join us to watch: The Little Rascals at the Tillotson Center on this Valentine's early release day. Come enjoy some movie themed activities, grab a popcorn, enter the movie raffle, purchase snacks from the concession stand and watch a film with us.  The film will start at approximately 1:30 at the conclusion of the themed activity.

  Rec staff will be available to walk participants from CES to the Center at school dismissal. Pick up at the Tillotson Center at 3pm. The event is open to all members of the community that would like to attend.

  Registration is only necessary for those walking with Rec Staff to the Tillotson Center.

  $5 Admission (includes film admission, raffle ticket & popcorn)

  After several health crises, a 70-year-old man embarks on a transformative long-distance cycling trip with his son. Knowing his dad miraculously recovered from three open-heart surgeries after discovering a passion for cycling, filmmaker Eric D. Seals proposes an ambitious idea: Bike together from St. Louis to Chicago, 350 miles. 4 days. On their journey the two push each other as they find a deeper connection and a renewed appreciation of their quests for their own health and to reimagine Black health.

  Join us for an exciting adventure with a lively group of trainees as they kick off their journey at a whimsical Walt Disney Imagineering Studio! Together, they’ll inspire one another to uncover their dreams while celebrating the magic of dreaming big. Drawing inspiration from a century of cherished Disney films, "Dare to Dream JR." showcases songs that are making their debut in a Disney stage musical, featuring beloved hits from "The Princess and the Frog," "Coco," "Encanto," and "Frozen II." This delightful musical revue blends modern tunes, classic favorites, and fresh medleys that are sure to bring joy and laughter to Disney fans young and old. Come share in the fun!
